The 3 dishes I would say are the standout star dishes (especially delicious) of my Friday night dinner were 1) Lamb Kebab/skewers (spicy and very flavorful) Excellent 10/10 2) Pork Rib soup (very warm and comforting) 3) Dessert (stewed pear with rock sugar) Also good were the potato slice and fish tofu and chicken soft bone

It was the bbq skewers on the menu that intrigued me and made me want to come here, though it has no weekday lunch, my usual opportunity to go out. It's a plain small dining room with tables and a counter. You order as with dim sum; there's a paper order sheet on your table, on which you mark how many of each you want. I found a total of six skewers of various meats, plus one side vegetable, made a satisfying small meal. The whole collection came on one plate, with chopsticks that weren't really very successful at sliding the meat off the wooden skewers; I picked the skewers up and gnawed the meat off. Consistent seasoning on all the contents; I'd asked for mildly spicy and that's what I got. Quality of the food was good. It's the casual-snack aspect of eating here, plus the limited hours, which are the biggest minuses in my eyes. For what it offers, it's good.

So authentic. Love this place. My friend brought me here and the following weekend I came back with my husband to enjoy these tasty skewers again. Soooo good! Suggest to order the veg: long beans and chives too, underneath the skewers they're even more tasty!

Been wanting to eat at this place for a long time, so glad they are open for lunch on weekend!

I have visited this restaurant for years , and the food quality has been very consistent. It has a unique taste of peppercorn oil and chili powder. Very tasty. They'd apply the same seasoning over the variety of proteins and veggies. They also serve noodles and beers. I'm quite fond of the place because compared to other kebab places nearby, their price is unbeatable over the years even though price has increased. Very nice staff and the interior has been renovated recently.

I got lamb skewers, beef skewers, and the braised lamb soup with clear noodles. The slightly spicy seasoning they put on the skewers is tasty. $3 a skewer is pricy imo, but they hit the spot. The braised lamb soup with clear noodles is $15. It's served in a clay pot so it stays nice and hot. The broth was hearty, the pieces of lamb were plentiful, and the clear noodles were a nice, slurp-able texture. It was delicious. The service was quick and the young lady that served me gave me water when I sat down. You have to pay at the register and I believe it's cash only for meals that are $24 or less.

Pretty good variety of things to try on a skewer. The seasoning is very cumin dominant with some red chili powder for spice. All of the skewers had this seasoning and tasted similar. The noodle bowls were definitely a good "palate cleaner" between rounds of skewers. Great for family style with multiple people so you can try many dishes. The interior is cozy and the tables are a bit small

Pretty decent chinese bbq place in the same plaza as Top Cafe and The Brit. Tbh, growing up in Cupertino, I never knew this place existed. The sizes of the meats on the skewers were sufficiently large and tasty. The noodles were also flavourful, and some good sized pot stickers. I liked the pickled cucumbers. The service can be a bit... not as smooth... if you don't really speak chinese. Luckily my party speaks decently enough to get by. It ended up being a little more expensive than expected, but I'd definitely return as the food was tasty.

Hankow Cuisine has been a hit and miss the multiple times I've been here. Sometimes the skewers are juicy, sometimes it's tough. In general, the lamb skewers here are better than the beef skewers. Tendon was bland. The hot dry noodle is always good, simple and the peanut sauce is tasty. Beef noodles are average. Make sure to call in advance to order, to prevent a long wait! Food takes about 10-20min to be ready.
